Last weekend I visited the Outback Steakhouse in Itaewon. Not a vegetarian's dream dining destination of course, but it was for a friend's birthday, and I was happy to go.
I suppose a vegetarian could certainly eat the "Bloomin' Onion" as a meal if need be.
I was expecting there to be a few dinner salads on the menu free of meat and seafood (as there are in the US). There wasnt a single non-meat/seafood dinner item to be found on the menu!
I made a meal of a side garden salad and a "jacket potato"- which had the BEST cinnamon butter dollopped on top.
(There is a plate of french fries hidden in the background that was complimentary for having to wait a bit for my potoato to come out)
So, not a prize vegetarian meal by any means, but at least I found something to eat, right?
Here are some of the dishes my friends ordered:
So, vegetarians- fill up on the Bloomin' Onion- its your best option.
On a side note, our server was very friendly, funny and spoke English well enough. We all recieved a complementary item (soup, fries) because some of the meals came out a different times. Nice touch Outback! Glad to see good service is still alive.
