Waffle desserts are all the rage here in Korea.
I cant tell you how many restaurants/cafes I have been in here in Korea that have a waffle dessert on the menu.
Oh, and these people KNOW waffles. They are always thick Belgian style. Usually loaded up with ice cream and fruit and whipped topping.
SO GOOD.
The above pictured waffle dessert is from Neal's Yard in Itaewon.
Neal's yard is a bakery/cafe in Itaewon on the main road. It is directly across the street from the Outback Steakhouse.
My lady friends and I visited Neal's Yard for after dinner desserts.
There menu consists mainly of desserts, baked goods, coffees and teas and other non-alcoholic beverages and a few beer and wine selections. Not much in the alcohol department though, and those drinks were pricey.
This place had such a comfortable feel to it. A little French bistro-like, a little country. Very relaxing.
I love the little napkin beer hats!
