While dining at The Wolfhound Pub (more on that later), I ran into Dan Gray from Seoul Eats!
We talked foodie talk, and I admired Dan's new camera (although Dan shoots with a Canon, not a Nikon......poor Dan...)
The only explanation I have for my entirely unflattering and strange pose position is that I spent the afternoon watching Hunchback of Notre Dame, and perhaps I was just paying homage to Quasimodo.
Last Friday night I headed to the Sinchon area to get together with Dan from SeoulEats.com and some Foodie friends.
Dan arranged for us to all meet up at Yaletown, a bar just around the corner for The Loving Hut.
There were a few vegetarian items on the menu, including fried zucchini sticks and the nacho plate.
Were the nachos good? Yes. Good enough for a return trip? No.
But their homemade salsa and guacamole were easily the best I've had in Korea. Easily.
To get to Yaletown, go to Sinchon Station, exit 2 (veering left), walk around 2 or so blocks (I wasnt counting), passing Loving Hut, then turn left at the Beans and Berries. Yale town is the next building down on your left, 3rd floor.
